Tattoos!
It was so cool to have the opportunity to create and apply many fake tattoos to our cast on @soulsroadmovie for @dept.9studios to help shape their characters. Hereās some of them. I designed most of them and some of them are copyright free stock images (Roman numerals, music notes). To give @allanhawco his prison vibe, we decided to have many jailhouse tattoos peeking out of his orange jumpsuit. Last second addition to his characters look and it was so fun. Iām glad that I had some tattoo sketches that I had done previously so I could whip those up with a moments notice! Phew š #MUFX #makeupdepartmenthead
As make-up department head, I had the amazing opportunity to work with Adam Beach on @thebirdswhofeardeath_film . What a special human being, he is. Director @sanjaypatel_1971 and I decided to do a bit of a facial hair progression for Adams character to show a passage of time (swipe for progression). Time and budget was top of mind but I still wanted to create a beard look that Adam could have, believably. Couldnāt do custom lace pieces because of prep time and budget so I decided to paint the first stage and then hand lay a relatively sparse facial hair progression. Took a bit of schedule finagling so it didnāt have to go on and off too much and I am so pleased with the result! āØ
