I’m not ready for this…
My baby brother, who was born when I was a high school senior, walked across the stage yesterday with an engineering degree from UCF, and it still feels impossible that the little boy we all watched grow up is onto his next chapter.
We’ve seen every version of him over the years: the little athlete with a ball constantly in his hand, the kid who won the elementary school spelling bee, the teenager who was prom king while facing more adversity than most people ever see, and the young man who never let any of it shake him. He reached his dream of playing collegiate baseball, built a successful e-commerce business, earned excellent grades, and still somehow made sure my mom, Maddie, and McKenzie always felt like the center of his world.
To say we’re proud is the biggest understatement.
While there was an empty seat here on earth yesterday, I know my dad had the best view in the house. He was always his biggest fan. The kind of dad who never missed a game, never stopped believing in him, and would have been bursting at the seams watching him move his tassel.
Ty is already stepping into an incredible career with Siemens, and if the last several years are any indication, this is only the beginning.
We love you, baby brother. ♥️

One last Mother’s Day at Children’s Academy at Loch Haven… the sweet school that helped raise my both babies into kind, confident, smart little people.
While we have been celebrating all the holidays here over the past decade+, this milestone last Mother’s Day arrived too fast. I’ll miss these sweet mornings more than I can say, and I’ll forever be grateful for the teachers and staff who loved my girls so well along the way. 💕
Some say scorecards were kept, but no one can confirm they were entirely accurate.
What we do know: the birthday girl made the rules (and adjusted handicaps accordingly), the cart girls stayed very busy, and the Jell-O shots kept morale high.
The Third Annual Catie Cup lived up to its reputation as a tradition unlike any other. ⛳️ HBD to the best sister in law ever!
