When I was 11 years old my mom got me the Gorillaz (Live from the Apollo theater) DVD for Christmas. I watched it A LOT on the Navajo Rez hoping one day to visit New York City 🗽. Fast forward 19 years and we're about to perform there on Wednesday (May 13th & 14th) 🙏🏽🪶 @indigenousenterprise + @apolloedharlem

Super grateful to be apart of this AMAZING photoshoot for @another_man magazine. I've never seen high level couture fashion being modeled and presented like this on the Navajo nation 🥇 . Big shout out to my grandma Nellie Shirley for letting us shoot on her land and @_carlosjaramillo_ for pulling up 📸 #LuptonArizona DEVIL WEARS PRADA 3: PERRY SHIRLEY

We’re proud to share that Indigenous Enterprise is working with @channel5 on a new TV Show called BORDERS. Six years ago BORDERS was just an idea, inspired by true events that affect our people still to this day. Then 2 years ago we made the jump from having an idea to writing it down on paper and then formulating that idea into a script and slowly turned that idea into something real. Then in 3 months (74 Days to be exact) our team wrote, produced, casted and directed the EPIC pilot episode for BORDERS in Phoenix, Arizona surrounded by a team of amazing talented artists from all over the 🌎 This project is deeply personal to us. It comes from real stories, real pain, and real struggles that Indigenous people on the border have carried for generations. These are not made up issues from the past, this is the reality our people are still living through every single day. BORDERS is rooted in true events from Indigenous communities whose land sits directly on the border, people who continue to live with the weight, violence, and consequences of these systems in real time. This is more than a show to us, it's our reality and we're super excited to finally show everyone. Big shout out to our brother @andreww.me for believing in us and uplifting Indigenous stories. We couldn’t have done it without him. On April 24th we’re gonna be screening it in the city that we filmed the Pilot episode in 2 years ago at the C5 carnival. Get your tickets now before it sells out. You don’t wanna miss this!!!!! 🎥🎥🎥🥇🥇🥇 Celebrity Theatre Phoenix, Arizona 4/24/2026 🙌🏽 Link in bio for tickets 🎟️

This was one of the best experiences of my entire life. Big shout out to my brother @andreww.me for believing in us and uplifting Indigenous stories. On April 24th we're gonna be screening it in the city that we filmed it in 2 years ago. This story is based on true events that happen everyday to indigenous people on the Border and it's needed now more than ever. Truth and a reality our people have been facing for decades. Making movies with my friends and creating the best memories is such a blessing and I'm super hyped to see the fam again. Too many people to thank but each and everyone of you know who you are how much I appreciate you ❤️ P.S. it's hella hard editing a teaser trailer without giving away spoilers to the plot 🎬😂. #NoSpoilers

Meet the Round 3 DFA Artist Fellows! Today we’re celebrating Kenneth Shirley (he/him). Kenneth Shirley (Diné/Navajo) is a dancer, filmmaker, and cultural leader dedicated to celebrating and uplifting Indigenous representation through performance and storytelling.
