Last night was the launch of the Queer Screen Mardi Gras Film Festival program 🥳
@i_am_mx.hayden and I were invited as our documentary has been accepted into this year’s festival. I was unfortunately sick and couldn’t make it, but Hayden was there repping us both.
We are so thrilled to be part of this year’s program, alongside such incredible work. The festival has been right at the top of our wish list from the start, so being included this year honestly means the world 💖

This festival not only supports women but also gender diverse films and we couldn’t be happier to be in the mix alongside what we’re sure will be an incredible lineup.

A series built to spotlight the talent, stories and ambition driving the game forward. From day one, @the_empireagency Victoria Denholm, the new ownership group and the @wnbl shared a vision, put athletes at the centre and tell their stories with the scale and respect they deserve. The belief in that vision, and the commitment to backing this project, has been huge in bringing it to life.

I am currently working on a documentary with the incredible trans masc legend @i_am_mx.hayden .
Stories of trans people seem to be everywhere right now. In Hayden’s words, exposure isn’t the problem. Trans people are very exposed and under attack. What they need are people willing to be allies.
I don’t often speak out on political matters. I believe in people having the freedom to make their own choices, but Hayden isn’t political to me. He’s become one of my favorite people. He is kind, funny, smart, and incredibly patient. I believe you stand up for your friends.
Today is Trans Day of Visibility, and Hayden, I stand with you and all trans people.
