The thing with adhd is that I am at my most productive when it causes the maximum amount of inconvenience.
I was thinking about some future content I want to make for Iceni and suddenly decided I was going to upgrade my videos by creating a mini-set from some cardboard that has been lying around the house for months waiting for me to find use for it. Naturally, I had to make a start IMMEDIATELY and the idea couldn’t possibly wait.
Then I found the spider, which was alarming close to being literally in my hair. Vile. Nope. Hoover the arachnid.

The script is actually moving along now! I’m finally having luck getting some scenes written and this versions first draft is well on its way to being complete!
I’m also working on getting the pitch deck update and pretty ready to get more people involved and get the reach even further afield

Script writing today, promised myself I’d get one scene a day finished before or after work, it’s been difficult but after some solid conversations with some friends (big shoutout to @saz_atherton3004 for talking through some issues I was having with the stakes of the piece) I’m now back on track.
That isn’t to say I don’t still want help with the script, the more eyes the better, but at least now I’m not staring at a screen for hours on end wondering why I can’t make the words appear.
Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction! Let’s go!

So according to @thecastingcollective neither Norfolk nor Suffolk exist. It’s hard enough trying to find work anywhere in the UK right now but when large companies like this don’t even attempt to include you it’s impossible.
I’m actually flabbergasted that two ENTIRE COUNTIES have been excluded. And no, I don’t believe for one second that there ‘isn’t enough/any work’ in either county because the creative industries here are thriving. This is disgraceful.

I’m looking for a writer.
It took a while to feel okay posting a video like this, asking for help.
I am a working class person, I don’t have the money to work for free on a passion project because then I won’t be able to pay bills. But I also don’t have the money to pay someone to do the job, which leaves me stuck in this eternal limbo of knowing I need help but not knowing how to find it. So I’m going for it. I’m putting this out into the world in the hopes that someone believes in this project as much as I do, because the worst that can happen is that people say no.

Migraine sufferers will understand the day-after migraine-hangover you get after one of these bangers, so not feeling my best right now but I’ll be back on the grind tomorrow after work and another good sleep!

Skills I learnt on the first Iceni shoot. I wore a LOT of hats on the first Iceni shoot, director, writer, makeup artist and basically the entire art department out of necessity.
This time I’d like to do things a bit differently and have proper professionals in to do this!

If I seem flustered it’s because I am! It’s all been such a rush the last two ish weeks of posting about Iceni but I promise I’ll have a fundraiser live very soon!
