Northville - Staybridge - Monterey - Ebb Tide
It’s been an experience! We left the UK in Jan with four suitcases and a loose plan. We stopped over in BKK to see friends which absolutely made our trip 100x better! We reached Aus and ended up staying at a friend’s apartment which was a total godsend. I honestly don’t know how this would have worked had it not been for Kate. It also happened to be the most Irish suburb on the planet. Ironic. It made me miss my neighbours a lot! Luckily I got to see my bestie after sooo long and an old friend which made it.
We spent weeks on the apartment hunt which I don’t wish on anyone. It. Is. wild. On one of the days we had to split up to cover more ground and we finally got accepted on one. One I hadn’t seen. Yikes!
Luckily Boom can see a diamond in the rough lol. So we moved in today! Into a block called Ebb and Tide. Which is also quite weird as it’s a meaning I live by.
There’s been a lot of up and down feelings over the past couple of months. Maybe this is that daily reminder I need, to just go with the flow.
Anyway, I haven’t really been on much and just thought I’d share an update for anyone that gives a minor shit.
Thank you @meygan15@rafiqmustapah for having us! @katekathiemama for being so kind (see you this week!) and all the other people who have checked in it helped keep me together. Especially the ones who have their own stuff going on but still think about us ❤️
