All I can say is WHAT A NIGHT! The Other Side of Black was a major success thanks to the AMAZING @sas.sketch who put everything together. And wow the amount of talent in this city is insane, every single person inspired the hellll out of me 🙏🏾I’m so grateful to have a space where I can share my work. I’m not the best public speaker but my work is more than just drawing beautiful black women, it’s about my own personal journey navigating life as a black women and celebrating our trials and triumphs .. and also our beauty with all that. Having the ability to create is my way of processing emotions that can often be difficult to articulate. Without it I’m genuinely lost and events like this inspire me to keep creating. Anywaysssse I’ll be coming back with more and more work. Big love to everyone who supported ❤️🫶🏾
