This is a tough one but a big thank you to @pmtenore for the 20 plus years on and off of support with both RVCA and recently a shorter then Intended stint with his new brand Tenore. Getting let go mid way in your contract stings a bit but am just taking the high road and overall grateful for the journey while wishing the best for Pat and his new brand . Most importantly a big thank you to @logandulien for putting me on the original Rvcasurf program back in the glory days and orchestrating all my deals for decades . Now back to unadulterated @albumsurf blank boards but looking forward to what’s ahead. Has been a good run. 🎥 @danscotttt

I met @asher_pacey in 1999 during my first trip to Aus . He was actually an air guy and doing some QS’s events . At that time outside of Aus he was an unknown talent . I was blown away how good he surfed and the style he possessed . We’ve pretty much been best friends ever since that trip . 26 years of friendship with lots of ups and downs . he was a big reason I wanted to make surf films and show the unknown talent out there like himself , not sure if you’ve seen Snapt 1 but this guy was doing shuvits into tube rides fins first over a quarter century ago . Still don’t see many guys doing that today , It’s crazy to see how far and more importantly how long his career has gone without any signs of slowing down . His fan base consists of those who appreciate style like me . I feel he played a big role in the resurrection of the twin fin movement . When he made the transition to twins I personally was kinda tripping 😂 until I saw video of him surfing on em . His approach had changed but the style remained the same and felt like he without trying seperated himself from every other pro surfer riding the moder day thrusters . it’s been crazy to see the influence he’s had on inspiring surfers to change it up and have some fun on alternative boards . You would be blown away how many @albumsurf boards he’s helped sell over the years . Ash and I often laugh how after all these years we’re still in the game together . It’s been a hell of a ride and blessed this guy has been in my corner the whole time start to finish because friendship is a 2 way street . Thank you Mr. Pe$o . The official one and only surfer to be in every single Snapt movie not just because our friendship because he’s so damn enjoyable to watch surf and more importantly amazing human .
