Meeting some of my favourite people at the premiere of @desifictionfilm2025 by @ash.varma
An excellent “must see” movie made in a familiar, distinctive Bollywood style. I loved Ash’s “Alfred Hitchcock” moments woven through the fabric of all of the stories.
Desi Fiction unfolds through four parallel stories: a bride-to-be navigating familial expectations, a skeptical daughter questioning inherited norms, a man suffocating under financial pressure, and an aspiring performer searching for voice and validation.
A must watch film!
