When I went back to my roots, I got convinced to cut off the “dead ends” of my hair and Sometimes it still happens… where i’ll listen to the voices outside of me before I listen to my own… but life has a way of bringing me back. Most of what I personally follow is ancestral wisdom and Indigenous teachings. I believe the body is not separate from spirit, and that the way we carry ourselves — including our hair — can be part of our relationship with identity, memory, prayer, and the natural world. Mariposa Medicina Everywhere I go since I landed here, they find me these tiny winged messengers soft as breath. Each time I step outside to pray to speak to sing to cry at the beauty of being alive… there she is🦋 Landing on my face, my hands, my feet, my cheeks… like she knows me. Like she sees the part of me that still wants to fly. Even when it’s hard. Even when I forget. God places these quiet signs right in front of me A gentle undenyable aliveness. Is it just me orrrrr….? Is anyone else just not about it either?😅 Im still a maiden so of course I love to have fun and play and dance and get wild, but I just have a VERY different view on what I consider wild and fun🫠 I only want to surround myself with people that are walking an integral path, hold wholesome values and are here to build an actual community for our future children to live within! I’m here to be having real conversations with my people about land and community building and be making BANK so that I can bring that dream to life and rest and be a mother when my spirit babies are ready for me! Sharing my secrets today… Not the polished ones but the ones I usually keep to myself because I know I’m not the only one holding them. As beautiful as love & light is… this is where it’s at for me talking about the things we don’t say out loud. Because we’re all human in this. And so much stays hidden just because we’re afraid of how it’ll be seen. That’s the part I want to bring into the light. So you remember you’re not alone and because, let’s be honest… people are craving vulnerability. So yeah… I’ll start 🙊 I can be really hard on myself about my age. About not being a mother yet. And ALSO—this is exactly why I do the work I do. Not because I’m better than anyone, but because I get it. I can meet women in the depths and support you in the ways I’ve learned to support myself. And to all the maidens whose biggest dream is to be a mother— I’m with you ✊🏽 This is w h y I created my next immersion… WILD MOTHER A profound space for maidens to be held by other maidens with the same longing— and by mothers, crones, and wisdom keepers who are here to walk with you in it.
