So excited to let everyone know that the documentary I made for @womenslegalserviceqld will be broadcast on @sbs_australia next Monday at 2pm, before becoming available on demand. It was such a privilege to listen to these incredible women and have the opportunity to be a very small cog in the remarkable machine of doing justice to their story. A huge thank you especially to certified legends Nat and Eva, to @dannyhaneman for his beautiful cinematography and Bronte and Dom from @maarimusic for bringing a resonant emotional depth to the visual framing with their score. Finally a huge thanks to @hanworthhouse for being such gracious hosts!!

Yo yo! I'm running another Director's Series at @jaggerrockystudios in May, which is terribly exciting. If you're an actor who wants to have first tilt at entirely novel scenes from upcoming narrative projects (written by moi), get facetime and experience with a working director, or simply want to avail yourself to the hand-knitted woollen sweaters I gift to all actors after sessions*, come along and check it out!! *this part was a fabrication for humorous effect. I have no idea how to knit...but I love a yarn!! Haha, ahh. I'll let myself out.

Wrapped last week on the first Director's Series with @jaggerrockystudios and had an absolute blast. Working with actors is one of the best bits of what I get to do, but being able to write scenes for upcoming projects and have talent workshop it as I'm writing was invaluable for me too! (Plus it helps they can make entirely novel choices, free of the predispositions of existing performances). Thanks so much to @biancazouppas and @mikegoldmanlive for bringing me on, to @ebonywareham and Luka for their help, but most of all to the wonderful gang that brought such wonderful community and industry to each session. Lastly, a big thank you to @itsjoannaelisabeth for her awesome BTS and camera work - such a great asset for any type of production. @deniweygood @tahlia_downs @tomoliver_au @justinm.ryan @suzannewebcke and all the others whose instagram I do not know (sorry! Let me know and I'll tag you!).

Had a blast on this one for @loanmarket_australia !! The second part of a national campaign, the first of which has had over 3.5 million views on Meta and YouTube that's driven a 30% increase in brand recognition - not bad for a tight three week turnaround.
