Quick changeover in the @ascthecube … As part of my solo show ‘The Space Between’ I will be rotating work to show new paintings throughout the duration of the exhibition. This morning I added this one to The Cube This solo exhibition of my work at @ascthecube brings together a changing series of paintings that focus on the interplay of negative space and light. Inspired by the shifting patterns between leaves in glass houses, the works quietly capture fleeting moments where brightness and shadow meet, inviting viewers to pause and notice what often goes unseen. The Cube offers four 1m x 1m display areas, in a unique structure within the communal spaces in @ascstudios Grafton Road Art House. Jennifer Moore is currently showing in the ASC The Cube at ASC Croydon. Her work draws on: space and place; structure and skin; surface and texture; ruin and decay; balance and weight. She has always been drawn to mapping – plotting a physical location in space whilst also plotting the occupation of space. Jennifer tries to make palpable the tension that arises between a human made material language and the ever present fragments of natural disruption that seeps through the everyday. Jennifer originally trained as an architect, completing an MA in Fine Art Printmaking at @camberwellual in 2021. More recently she has spent the last two years on the @mass.sculpture sculpture programme.

Thank you to Hanaa Malallah for her exhibition' She/He Has No Picture' at ASC The Cube. As an installation that commemorated the victims of pre- dawn bombing of a Public shelter in 1991 in Iraq by American F-117 planes. **BAINBRIDGE PRINT** has taken over the cube!! 4 print artist / 4 windows demonstrate the diversity of work produced at the @bainbridgeprint in the @ascstudios Art House, @Croydon . This is @j_armstro Jonathan is Print ‘silence ensures that history repeats itself’ references, the British colonial empire suppressing the Kenyan uprising of 1952 to 1960 and images of the black power movement following the 1965 assassination of Malcolm X, whose aim was to achieve self-determination for black people in the USA. Edition 1/4

This is by @lesley_syme who’s work is inspired by the environment around her, finding beauty in simple botanical structures and forms, as here in the delicate feathered fronds of the tree fern.
