I am back in Tokyo (“City of Angels” in Japanese) after a brief visit to the lake from Silent Hill. Would only recommend for the bravest, most alpha among us.
The novelty of the Toto Washlet Bidet is starting to wear off. I am ready to wipe my own ass. I am ready to embrace my girlfriend. I am ready to litter and jaywalk, to commit outrages, to snatch the wigs from our most revered idols.

Real country living out at my grandparents’ place. Acting like a teenager again: hanging out in konbini parking lots, wandering through empty malls. Some hiking, too.
Osaka tomorrow. My favorite city in Japan, also probably the dirtiest. Feels like home.
And we’re back to the city tomorrow. Plugging back in. Touching plastic. The mountains here are so beautiful but it’s almost too much. We plan to get lost in Shinjuku Station on our way to Kyoto.
