We are pleased to announce that Ascent Construction is the recipient of another award! The Utah Construction and Design magazine named our work on the Herriman Liquor Store the "Best of Category" (Commercial/Retail) for 2019. Congratulations to the team on another win!
Ascent was honored this morning by winning an Award of Merit by Engineering News-Record magazine, for it's work on the Rocky Mountain Care building in Heber City, Utah. It was a pleasure working with the skilled designers at TSA Architects, and we look forward to many more projects with them in the future.
Sandy Public works was honored Tuesday evening with the “Project of The Year” award for the Sandy City Administration Building from the American Public Works Association (APWA) Utah Chapter. Standing left to right are; Mike Gladbach, Director Sandy PW; Brent Ventura, President APWA Utah Chapter; Kelly Rasmussen Ascent Construction Project Manager; Steve Switzer, PM Michael Baker International; and Bob Murri, VP Ascent. Scott Holmes of JRCA was the architect on the project. Of particular note was the Low-Impact Development (LID) elements incorporated into this project. Congratulations to all who contributed to the success of this award-winning facility. Congratulations especially to Sandy City for leading the way in effective LID implementation.

Last week we walked through our current remodel of West Bountiful Elementary with the principal and her teaching staff. For the first time they were able to see classrooms where they will teach next year.
