Today, we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice and service of those who have served our country ❤️ ANZAC Day is a time for reflection, gratitude and coming together as a community. In the spirit of tradition, we’re sharing a classic ANZAC biscuit recipe - a simple way to connect, reflect and remember with your school or at home. You can access this and more recipes for FREE from our Food For Thought cookbook via our website (link in bio). Recipe Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 170°C and line 2 trays with baking paper. 2. Place the flour, oats, sugar and coconut in a large bowl and stir to combine. 3. In a small saucepan, combine the golden syrup and butter, stirring over a low heat until the butter has fully melted. Remove from heat. 4. Mix the bicarbonate of soda with the water and add to the golden syrup mixture, stirring carefully as it will bubble. 5. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix together until fully combined. 6. When completely cold, roll tablespoons of the mixture into balls and place on baking trays, pressing down on the tops to flatten slightly. 7. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
