Wild that this is what it’s come to.
We set out to make a film in Palestine 8 years ago. What were we thinking. I was just a kid trying to make movies. I didn’t think we’d be going to Amsterdam to attend @idfafestival . I didn’t think I’d be speaking at a fundraiser for the @unrwa . I didn’t think we’d end up making a difference, I just wanted to make a movie. And these last 8 years made me realise how much “just making a movie” can actually do.
A lot has changed since our visit in 2018, and even more has changed in the last 6 months. It was never gonna be an easy story to tell objectively, but being a part of it makes us feel responsible and almost obligated to tell this story. Our version at least. And after these 8 long years, I’m glad the world will finally be able to see it. Wouldn’t be possible without the boys @pranavpingle@prithvi.chahal sunny and a ton of other people. They know who they are.
Available now on @mubi and soon on @trtworld
@occupiedtheseries is finally available to watch in all it’s 120 mins of glory on @mubi@mubiindia . It’s been a long 8 years, and it means so much that the world can finally watch, especially on a platform like @mubi .
Thank you to everyone that made this possible. @pranavpingle@prithvi.chahal and the whole @miragemedia crew.
Full film available to stream on mubi.com

The screening of Silent Screams in Coonoor reminded us why these stories must be told.
The silence, the emotions, the response... Everything spoke louder than words.
We are grateful to everyone who showed up, stood with us and listened.
Our solidarity is with the families, victims and survivors. Always.
This is just the beginning.
We would like to thank the @inside.43 team for their warmth and generosity in screening our film and hosting us in Coonoor. Their support and hospitality truly meant a great deal to us.
For many more screenings.
For many more voices.

Mirage Media brings you Silent Screams — narrated by Shruti Haasan.
Behind crime reports and fading headlines are real lives torn apart.
Young women misled by trust, hunted by predators,
and forgotten by a society that moves on far too quickly.
Silent Screams pulls these stories out of the shadows of Telangana,
exposing the violence we’ve normalised
and the silence we’ve learned to live with.
This is not just a documentary.
It exists to remember.
To disturb.
And to demand accountability.
Streaming from January 8th onwards, exclusively on Sun NXT.
