At the Good Ads Matter Agency Business Heads’ Roundtable, Arvind Krishnan @arvindkrishnan shared a clear perspective when asked, Network or Independent— what would you choose? Having worked in a network agency before, Arvind spoke about moments where you see how massive global businesses are aligned, and how that scale operates. But as he went on to explain, the brief doesn’t know whether you’re an independent or a network, it’s the same for both. Both are competing for the same opportunity, just with different ways of getting there. From his lens as an independent agency head, he believes this is an era where ideas are needed to truly animate the machine, and many of those ideas are coming from independents. Arvind Krishnan is the Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer of Manja @manjabrandworks , a full-funnel advertising agency he launched in 2022. With over two decades of experience across Leo Burnett, and BBH India as well as London, he has led campaigns for Amazon Prime, Mahindra, Ajio, Starbucks and Netflix, blending strategy with creative storytelling. At the Good Ads Matter Awards India 2025, Manja won Gold for Mahindra ‘For Planet’ and multiple metals for Urban Company’s ‘Filter to Pagal Hai’.
