As ‘Twenty Somethings’ , I think we all just want more…
Dear Twenty-Something,
You will get that dream job.
You will build and grow that business.
You will buy or rent that dream apartment.
You will experience genuine love.
You will buy that dream car.
You will travel to those beautiful places.
You will meet people who turn into friends then into family.
You will heal from things you don’t even talk about.
You will have peace.
You will have joy.
You will become everything you once prayed for.
And one day, without even realizing it , you will be living the life you once dreamed of..
.
If this resonates with you , save it to remember or share it to a friend who needs this🤍

One thing I realized while watching this year’s Met Gala is that a lot of people still reduce fashion to just “wearing beautiful clothes.”
This year’s theme explored the relationship between fashion and art, and honestly, I expected people to take more creative risks on the carpet.
Fashion and art are not separate conversations.
Fashion is art.
Some celebrities truly understood the assignment. We saw references inspired by paintings, sculptures, historical aesthetics, and artistic movements translated beautifully into fashion pieces.
But at the same time, I also felt like many attendees played it too safe. Some outfits looked more suited for a regular awards show than an exhibition centered around artistic interpretation.
And what surprised me the most was that very few people explored literary art.
Fashion inspiration doesn’t only come from paintings or sculptures. It can come from books, theatre, mythology, film, and storytelling. Someone could have drawn inspiration from Macbeth, Frankenstein, gothic literature, or even classic fictional characters.
Fashion has always existed alongside storytelling.
But beyond the carpet itself, I also think fashion audiences online need to engage with fashion more thoughtfully.
You cannot claim to love fashion while refusing to research references, symbolism, tailoring, history, or artistic inspiration.
Fashion is not just clothes, bags, makeup, or jewelry.
Fashion is politics.
Fashion is film.
Fashion is literature.
Fashion is culture.
Fashion is identity.
Fashion is storytelling.
So before immediately calling a look “ugly” or “off theme,” it’s important to first understand what the designer or celebrity may have been trying to communicate.
A true fashion enthusiast doesn’t just consume fashion visually — they study it.

A little re-introduction wouldn’t hurt right? 🤭
Hi, I’m Aruchi 💕
I’m a lawyer by day and fashion illustrator by night, so yes… your girl is working 9–5 and then 5–1am 😖
I’m a die-hard fashion girlie — clothes, shoes, bags, celebrities, designers, stylists, award shows… if it’s fashionable, you’ll find me there ✅
I’m also a beauty addict. Hair, makeup, manis and pedis, skincare… I live for all things beauty because well… you know the rest 😉✨
And of course, I love soft girl living — taking care of myself, going out with friends and family, trying new restaurants, art galleries, parties, cute experiences, and doing anything with the girls basically 💞
Oh, and my favourite colour is PINK 💕
I create content around all these different parts of me, and I hope that by sharing my life with you, you get to experience life through my lens.
So if you want to get to know a multi-passionate girl navigating life in her 20s… stick around and hit that follow button, will you? 💋
