from what he told me later, he actually tried to propose so many times from the moment we arrived in iceland. every time he thought, this is the moment, something felt off — too crowded, too windy, too many people watching, not meaningful enough :)
and honestly…
i’m happy it didn’t work out sooner, because the universe clearly had its own plan
that beach… untouched sand, wild ocean, no strangers, no distractions — just us.
i’ll never forget standing there, surprised, frozen in the most beautiful way. he asked, and i didn’t answer right away — not because i doubted, but because i wanted to breathe it in, let it stay, stretch that feeling like time had stopped just for us.
and when he slid the rings onto our fingers — boom. a rainbow.
and then another one.
double rainbow, double magic. if i tell this one day to our kids they’ll think i’m exaggerating — but it all happened exactly like that. so surreal, so quiet, so perfect.
so yeah… everything really has its own timing. sometimes what feels delayed is actually being aligned.
keep your heart open. trust your path. and thank you for all the love and congratulations under that video — i read everything 🫶🏻
