From Tyra: “Tyra Rose is a visual artist, dancer, choreographer, educator, and producer. Originally from Des Plaines, Illinois, she received training from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, focusing on painting, and Webster University with an emphasis in modern dance. Her art centers around the boldness, fluidity, and sensuality of the female form. To her, dance is life and life is dance.”

“Her work explores emotional states through color, texture, and layered composition.
Rather than depicting specific narratives, she builds spaces where tension, memory, and silence can exist simultaneously.
Reyne works primarily in oil, developing surfaces slowly through accumulation and erasure.
