There is still time to catch a showing of “The Importance of Being Earnest, a Trivial Comedy for Serious People” at @ncstateuniversitytheatre .🎭 See these characters navigate the high-stakes world of high society, where two bachelors invent secret personas to escape their mundane lives. Of course, they quickly find their double lives causing double the trouble! Will they win this tricky game of Victorian etiquette, or will this be game over? This show is running through April 19. Grab your tickets at the link in @ncstateuniversitytheatre ’s bio! 🎟️ ℹ️: A "Character Select" style video featuring actors from the show. Each character stands in a stylized Victorian costume performing "idle" loops like a video game. On-screen text displays witty, RPG-style descriptions for each person's stats and personality traits.

Happy eve of the Arts NC State student art sale! You get a sneak peak at some of the amazing work and check out these stats: 🎨 Student Artists at NC State: By the Numbers: 🎨 This spring, 55 NC State students applied to participate in the annual Student Art Sale — and their majors might surprise you. The single largest group of applicants came from the College of Engineering, joined by artists studying everything from Meteorology and Social Work to Statistics and Fisheries & Wildlife Conservation. Altogether, 48 different majors are represented across 11 colleges. These aren't just hobbyists, either. 84% have sold their work before — at art fairs, on Etsy, and at past NC State sales — and nearly 90% are open to commissions. When it comes to the art itself, expect variety: prints, original paintings, handmade jewelry, ceramics, crochet, stickers, and more, with pieces priced as low as a few dollars and averaging around $96. Come shop the Arts NC State Student Art Sale on Saturday, April 18, 1–4 p.m. on the Gregg Museum lawn. Browse, buy, and see what your fellow Wolfpack members have been making! 🎨 Image 1: "Boylan Phantoms", darkroom print, August Hann, Junior, Aerospace Engineering 🎨 Image 2: "Reality", oil on canvas, Norah Hoppe, Freshman, Agro-ecology & Sustainable Food Systems 🎨 Image 3: "Blush", Ceramics, Maryam Badiei, Lira Gomes, PhD student of Design 🎨 Image 4: "Buildings N’ Blues", acrylic on canvas, Ava Steele, Marine Science 🎨 Image 5: "Marbled Sea Glass", Clay, Mary Julian, Human Biology 🎨 Image 6: "Where’s the Peace—Just out of Grasp,” mixed media, Annalise Saffo, Fourth/Fifth Year,, Animal Science B.S. and Art and Design Minor 🎨 Image 7: "Fabric", ceramics, Arienna Whittick, Junior, Environmental Design in Architecture
