🎨 Behind every piece of art that heals, there is a sanctuary where it was created. Today, one of those sanctuaries needs our help. The Nahirna22 Art Community, based in the Kyiv Institute of Automation, has been struck twice by enemy drones. These studios are home to the very artists who keep Ukraine’s spirit alive, but the physical toll is heavy: • Shattered Studios: Windows across multiple workspaces have been blown out. • Structural Damage: The second strike severely damaged the roof. • The Challenge: After repairing the initial damage, the community now faces a second, more urgent round of restoration. At Art Shield, we know that healing requires a safe space. We are standing with the Nahirna management team as they fundraise to replace the glass to keep these creative hearts beating. How you can help: We are raising funds to restore the light to these studios. Every contribution helps us put the pieces back together. 🔗 Link in bio to support the restoration. #nahirna22 #KyivArtists #StandWithUkraine #RebuildUkraine #kyivart

Introducing Kyiv Art Sessions Kyiv Art Sessions is an international cultural project founded in 2024 by the cultural centre @dom_master_klass (Ukraine) in partnership with the charitable foundation @artshieldorg (USA, UK). Kyiv Art Sessions presents seasons of Ukrainian culture, positioning contemporary Ukrainian art across music, cinema, literature, and visual arts as an integral part of the European and global cultural landscape. Background The project emerged from the Kyiv-based festival Bouquet Kyiv Stage, founded by Dom Master Klass in 2018, and naturally evolved into its international continuation, opening a broader conversation about Ukrainian culture globally. Activity Throughout 2024-2025, Kyiv Art Sessions delivered four cultural seasons in the United Kingdom. More than 40 events - including concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, performances, and public discussions - formed a cohesive cultural journey, revealing the higher values, imagery, and voices of contemporary Ukraine in dialogue with Europe. Kyiv Art Sessions is a charitable initiative. Each event includes a social and humanitarian dimension, supporting Ukrainian culture, artists, and vital civic initiatives. International Recognition 2025 marked a milestone for the project, with Kyiv Art Sessions receiving major international recognition, including two SABRE Awards 2025 in the category Preserving Art in Crisis and a PR Daily Media Relations Award 2025 for Innovative Media Strategy. Kyiv Art Sessions is more than a series of cultural events. It is the living presence of Ukrainian culture in the world✨

We’re happy to share these special memories — the evening that marked the beginning of the Kyiv Art Sessions: spring season. This Cultural Soirée at Home House brought together a truly engaged and curious audience, open to discovering Ukrainian culture and high art. For many guests, it became a first, meaningful encounter — one that sparked a genuine interest and continued into the following concert by the @kyivchoir The atmosphere of the evening was warm and intimate, shaped by shared tea, generous treats, and meaningful conversations. It was not only about music, but about connection — and we are especially grateful for the new relationships and future collaborations that began that night.

Even the harshest winter conditions can’t stop activities under our Art Therapy programme! ❄️ Yesterday, our wonderful @_alla_levko and the young participants created Valentine’s cards for soldiers. This weekend, Alla also conducted a masterclass for mothers and their children, where they made decorative “fluffy hearts.” The event created a safe space to talk about feelings, emotions, and the importance of having one another. While the workshop was open to everyone, most participants were internally displaced families, young people whose parents are serving, or families who have lost a father. Each heart will serve as a symbol of the special bond between mother and child — a reminder that they have each other. 💕 Link to support the programme is in the bio

There are 7–8 million children in Ukraine, and one in three is living with serious war-related trauma. At Art Shield, our Acting Therapy Programme helps women and children heal through creativity, play, and human connection. Through role, story, and movement, participants rebuild emotional expression, confidence, empathy, and social trust. Led by Ukrainian art therapist Alla Melnyk, the programme supports over 30 children and 200 women every year, offering safe spaces to feel, express, and reconnect. 💙 Last month, our kids performed for displaced children, families of Ukrainian defenders, and children of fallen or missing heroes. 💛 The programme is supported by our ambassador Sophie Cookson. We are now fundraising to keep this work alive and scale it across Ukraine in 2026 – link in bio.
