“October 7 Dove” was designed specifically for this year’s Rosh Hashana card collection to commemorate all the souls who were lost since October 7, 2023 and the hostages that are still being held captive.
The artist, Ilana Landau, designed this year’s card, portraying a dove comprised of a mosaic of bright and colorful hearts. The hearts represent individual people within the Jewish community. Our people are diverse, but together form a spectrum of light and a unified and beautiful nation.
A united Jewish people is an unyielding force which is illustrated in the olive branch with the words “ביחד ננצח,” “United We Will Succeed.”
Our hope for this New Year is that we will remain a united and strong nation, and achieve peace and safety, proclaiming Am Yisrael Chai!

We have procrastinated long enough to photograph this spectacular two dimensional creation (probably our best to date!) It is nearly impossible to properly convey the beauty and intricate stunning details in this one of a kind piece of artwork. As a solution you are all invited to our showroom in midtown Manhattan to see it in person! You have an open INVITATION! (Pun intended)
What you are viewing here is a meaningful Bar Mitzvah invitation for my nephew, Samuel. Inspired by his Torah portion, Parshat Vayigash, our in-house graphic and fine artists created a stained glass illusion using Ultra Violet printing on plexiglass. In addition we built a custom frame and once again used UV printing to write out a beautiful Hebrew quote to relate to the artwork and Torah portion. (Read full description on slide 4)
The invitation was the inspiration for the event decor. We simply used the vibrant colors and copper metallic accents to dictate the decor components that made the space a visual delight!
The place cards were also inspired by the invite. To top it all off each guest received a personalized gift at the end of the evening. (@artscroll Benchers)

Each year we send our Rosh Hashanah greetings with best wishes for health and happiness for the coming year. In this past difficult year, those aspirations have been challenged.
With the meaningful design of this year’s beautiful card, by graphic artist Ilana Landau, we convey to you our ongoing and fortified sense of hope for the future while acknowledging the obstacles we face.
The hearts on the card represent the diverse and different Jewish people and their communities. When joined together, we form a unified and beautiful nation symbolized by the dove.
Our strength is illustrated in the olive branch with the Hebrew words, “United We Will Succeed.” As you hold this card, open and close it, we should all recognize we achieve the most when we stand together. Let us strive in the New Year and for years to come for unity, harmony, resilience and peace now and always. Am Yisrael Chai!

This was our Passover Seder table. I was hesitant to share something so superficial while times are so difficult but it’s time to show you what we did and how we tried to make it a meaningful Chag. For as long as I can remember we have always sung Hatikvah at the end of every Seder. This year it brought tears to many of our guests. We had some empty place settings and chairs to represent the hostages, and a complete bio and photo for each hostage so we could properly learn, know and pray for each person. We haven’t stopped praying. 🎗️#proudjew #bringthemhomenow #israel #amyisraelchai
