What does it take to inspire the next generation? We’ve recently had the privilege of delivering a large-scale mural for the @randwick_netball_association at Heffron Park, a project built around one simple but powerful idea: show young athletes what’s possible. Proudly supported by @randwickcouncil and fabulously managed by @swc_statewidecivil , this project brought together vision, design, and execution at the highest level. With creative direction from David Cianci at @artscapeconsult , the concept evolved into a striking “Walk of Fame”, designed to inspire every player who steps onto the court. Using just two reference images as inspiration, the result is a bold, meaningful mural finished with StreetBond150 delivering not only long-term durability, but a P5 slip-rated surface to ensure safety and performance go hand in hand. McCormack, Ella, Kenny, Pitman, Simpson, and Parmenter. To most they are just names picked at random from a hat, but for many young girls starting their netball journey, they represent something far greater. They are proof of what’s possible. Each of these athletes once stood where these girls stand today, with ambition, drive, and a dream. Today, they shine as part of the @aussiediamonds Projects like this go beyond paint on pavement. They create connection, identity, and aspiration, within a space, turning everyday environments into places that motivate, uplift, and inspire. This was a true collaborative effort, delivered against the clock, and when the right people come together, magic happens.

L I V I N G L A Y E R S 🌿 finished close up photos of ‘Living Layers’ a botanical still life inspired by the surroundings of Friend Park situated in Wentworth Town Centre! In this work, we highlight the large, evergreen foilage of the Hills Weeping Fig Tree, a significant tree nestled in the heart of the park. Among the flora are symbols of joy, freedom and hope, Birds of Paradise and Indian Hawthorn, placed in a ceramic pot strewn with garlands made from marigold 🌼 Curated by @artscapeconsult for @oscargeorgeprojects 🍃 #styna #artscapeconsult #artbystyna #onsitewithogp #oscargeorgeprojects

Galuwa Recreation Centre opened last weekend – a fantastic new sports and recreation facility for the Lane Cove community (by AJC). ARTSCAPE designed the signage and wayfinding to be clear, consistent and familiar, continuing the visual language developed across Lane Cove over many years so visitors can move through the building comfortably from day one. We're proud to play a part in shaping a place the community now considers one of the most liveable in Australia. Thanks to @lanecovecouncil for the continued trust and @cunneensigns for bringing the work to life.

'Cloudlines' is lighting up Green Square. Suspended above the new pedestrian walkway between Zetland Avenue and The Drying Green, this captivating illuminated sculpture by Lightwell transforms live weather data into shifting colours, rhythms, and animations. Temperature, rainfall, and wind are translated through generative code into glowing patterns. Curated by ARTSCAPE for Mirvac, 'Cloudlines' reflects the Green Square Public Art Strategy’s Art & Ecology theme – interpreting “green” not just as nature, but as wellbeing and connection. A huge thank you to the many hands that brought this vision to life: Lightwell – led by Indigo Hanlee Mirvac Design and Mirvac Construction Jisuk Han and the team at X Squared Design Event Engineering Shane Stevenson & Dean Stevenson at Interactive Controls Pty Ltd Lighting Designer Benjamin Cisterne Photography: Mel Touw, Lightwell #publicart #illuminatedartwork #greensquare #artscape #artscapeconsult #artplaceculture

'The Shape of Things to Come', by David Cianci – refreshed and reimagined in West Crown Street, Wollongong. Originally installed in 2018 as a five-year pilot, this artwork responded to local voices asking for colour, light, seating and wayfinding. Seven years later, the street had changed – and a refresh to the artwork was called for to reflect that shift. Rather than remove it, we added a new skin that lets the original pattern shine through. A layered approach that reflects how places (and people) evolve over time. Built right, built to adapt. Check the link in bio that explains more about the process and the project. Images show the evolution of the wayfinder series from its 2018 origins to its refreshed look in 2025.
