✨🎓 THE BIG EVENTS CHALLENGE 2026 🎓✨
Today we had the pleasure of stepping in as Business Advisers for The Big Events Challenge 2026, in collaboration with @culture_liverpool and @livuni 💛
We started the day working closely with student teams in an advisory role — hearing ideas, sharing insights and helping shape their concepts. Then later, we stepped into judging mode to help select the top three teams heading through to the final tonight at @stgeorgeshall_liverpool
So much creativity, confidence and fresh thinking in one room — the future is looking very bright. ✨
It was also great to work alongside fellow judges from @hopestreethtl , @tiptraytheatre , @strawberryfieldliverpooluk , @evertonstadium and many more — a real coming together of Liverpool’s creative community.
Best of luck to all the students in the final tonight — you smashed it. 💛

Always inspiring to hear what’s happening across the region, from Patricia sharing insights from @visitengland to a really interesting panel hosted by our new friend @producer02 on the overnight levy.
Even better when you bump into familiar faces along the way — @oliverckm on coffee duty ☕️ at @risebrunch , plus a lovely catch up with Concha and the team from @titanichotelliverpool .
Feeling inspired, caffeinated and brought that energy all the way back up to Hope Street @hopestofficial .

We’re still on cloud 9 to be honest with you. Completely unexpected! Since the win, we’ve gone back and reflected on 2025, a tough year but one we really learnt a lot from. We don’t take a lot of time to reflect and it’s nice to have an excuse to.
