Un giorno di mare grosso, a Livorno, sulla bellissima terrazza Mascagni, curioso di vedere quante onde supereranno la balaustra e di quanto, e invece, all'improvviso, una madre con un bambino passano sereni e leggeri, pattinando a ritmo di valzer. E allora capisci. Davanti alle onde, al mare così grosso da fare paura, devi vivere al ritmo della musica che hai dentro di te.
Per te. E anche per chi non c'è più, e vorrebbe gridare e scagliarsi come quell'onda terribile per dire: vivi intensamente, e ama sempre! Ora che puoi!

Isolated on a hill, near Lucca, Pieve di Brancoli preserves outstanding masterpieces from Romanesque to Renaissance!

Pieve di Brancoli was built in 1100s, on the site of a previous church, mentioned in 8th c., that was built on the site of a pagan temple dedicated to god Apollo, the god who was driving the chariot of the sun and fighting darkness. Not by chance, St George "inherited" 🙂 this place!

Visiting Emilio Malerba's exhibition at Fondazione Ragghianti, Lucca, is a way of passing through magic time doors that make the past he painted so alive you feel part of it, the past part of you!
Un viaggio nelle emozioni senza tempo camminando per Lucca, e fissando gli sguardi nei quadri di Emilio Malerba, pittore milanese che dopo un viaggio a Firenze ha iniziato a dipingere atmosfere sospese fuori dal tempo e che viaggiano nel tempo. Morto a soli 49 anni, nel 1926, non ha potuto dipingere molti quadri nel realismo magico che ha senza dubbio contribuito a fondare, ma la sua opera è servita di ispirazione a pittori più celebri come Donghi.
