PSA!!! Excited to announce that I have been selected by @auspost to have one of three limited edition Australian Street Art postal stamps released this year. The mural is of my amazing girl Milli May painted at @darwinstreetartfestival .
So proud of Milliās work and being able to celebrate her ongoing education / political output with First Nations land and indigenous Australians with the people of this country makes my belly full of Joy.
More info on release date soon. š¤šā¤ļø Always was always will be.
Never really showed the full process behind this project in Bali. What made this one so special wasnāt getting the opportunity to paint this amazing double sided bang bang board ā it was the people behind it.
Collaborations like this, between the commissioner / vision, the shaper, the glasser, myself the artist, the photographer, and everyone else involved, are what fill my heart with joy and my bucket with inspiration. A team of the best creatives and humans all coming together around one idea⦠that is just so purely fucking satisfying.
Thereās something magic about watching everyone bring their own craft, energy, and perspective into one piece. Thatās the stuff I live for.
Canāt wait to get back there and create more with the best people / familia š¤

Running purely on caffeine, deadlines, and the slow decline of my sanity peeling off the walls while I juggle too many projects. All to be left with a resting bitch face and the deep burning desire to throw back a coldie and get completely rinsed. That def wonāt happen.
STFU Jackets landing soon.
No backing track need be appointed šµāš«

PSA!!! Feeling incredibly humbled to be this years Artist in Residence at Pembroke School over the next few months, especially given the fact that Iāll be following in the footsteps of so many great artists before me.
Even more meaningful is the opportunity to mentor and work alongside the students as we move toward mural production, creativity and ideology as a collaborative project.
Cannot wait for what these tiny BIG brains come up with. No doubt Iāll be getting lots of inspiration myself with this one.

Trying sobriety is a c*#t of a thing - a long and windy tumultuous road. But thankfully so many of the people I adore and admire are on the same train so it feels much less lonely at times. And it šÆ has its perks and quite frankly feels about time. Canāt go around fighting men forever.
And yes still hoonin on the missus š¬ for now
A portrait of appetite. MFK Fisher & Utamaro (sitting).
1.7 x 2.4m
Acrylic on French Linen / object installation
My painting of M. F. K. Fisher for the recent group show Above The Clouds, curated by Jah Smith, sits somewhere between indulgence and restraintāmuch like her writing.
Fisher wrote about food as a language for desire, loneliness, pleasure, survival and because of this I really wanted the work to lean into her psychological terrain. Something more complex and rendered spatially. More of an MFK Fisher portrayed environment rather than a straight portrait.
For all enquires please contact @jah_smith_anz before she heads back to the studio with her friends for my upcoming solo exhibition.
Huge thanks to @ctoart and Jah for the invite and to all the amazing artists I got to swoon over next to me Congrats on such beautiful work! What an honour team š¤š¤š¤
