Food Prints! 🍹Paintings made by children aged 6-11.
In my Step by step Print Making classes, the children first drew out 3 recognisable summer foods and drinks. ☀️🍰 Then they carved the drawings into poly blocks and printed them in bold, saturated colours! Some even used a gradient effect for different parts of the foods....didn't they do well!? 🍦☀️

In my Step by step Drawing classes in London, the children learn very important observational skills: how to actually SEE what's Infront of them and not what they THINK they see. (Although I do let them add a few fun details at the end!)

Winter Paintings! ❄️ The children in my classes have been working on these gorgeous winter paintings! We looked at Nickolas Roericks "And we are not afraid" from 1922 and the children added their own buildings, characters and winter animals to the scene. ❄️ Here are just a few that I got time to photograph! Spring Flowers! 🌼 It's never to early to bring some sunshine! Last week I was back at the Asperger's Foundation and working with the lovely adults at their Saturday Club.
We made 3D flowers using different papers and floristry wire! It was so much fun to bring this collage to life and help everyone create images that were unique to them and that they could be proud of. 💙

Chickens! 🐓 The Kids in my classes have been learning how to draw CHICKENS from observation!
I found a great reference image of a jumping Hen, which inspired the children to think of a narrative to their drawings too!
What would your chicken be jumping over? 🤔
A gate, on its way to freedom?🙌 Or a hurdle, in a race at the Olympics? 🏆 🤣
