We are fundraising for the ‘Resilience’ sculpture series in John Meade Park! These sculptures appear to be local wildlife (a monarch butterfly, a broad-tailed hummingbird, and a Great Horned Owl) when viewed from one direction and playing children when viewed from a different angle. Donors of $100 or more will appear on a recognition plaque. To make a donation, checks made out to the City of Cherry Hills Village can be sent to the Cherry Hills Village Art Commission, 2450 E. Quincy Ave, Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113. Donations can also be made by credit card over the phone; donations are tax-deductible. Please call Parks Manager Emily Black at (303) 783-2742 for questions or to make a donation.
Check out the shadow when the sun hits the sculpture at just the right angle - another fun way to experience these pieces! We are so excited to have this series coming to John Meade Park. For more information or to make a year-end donation in support of this series, please visit the link in our bio. #publicart #publicsculpture
