Mauricio Durán Ortega is a leading figure in the Mexican and Latin American film industry with over 35 years of experience. In 2025, he was elected President of
@canacine_mexico (the Mexican Chamber of the Film Industry), where he advocates for industry growth and collaboration across sectors.
