Director of Brewing Operations, Carolyn Stephens!
Carolyn’s journey started around 2015 when she started The Business of Craft Beer Program at College of Dupage. Here’s a bit of what she had to say about how it all began. “I met industry professionals and decided I wanted to be a part of the Craft Beer Industry. I also started home brewing and was immediately hooked. I started volunteering with the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild at events so I could meet people and learn more about the craft beer industry. In January 2019 I started a role as Assistant Brewer and Bartender at Dry City Brew Works (3.5bbl system). In May 2019 I moved to an Assistant Brewer role at Oswego Brewing Co (15bbl system). In March 2022 I was promoted to Head Brewer at OBC and ran the brewing and packaging operations and managed an Assistant Brewer. October 31st, 2022 I started as Head Brewer at AHB.”
For the past three years Carolyn has been filling the taproom with delightful smells and delicious brews. Earlier this year she tackled the transition from AHB to Geneva Lager Works and didn’t miss a beat. It is with great pleasure that we finally share the news and express our excitement and gratitude. Thank you Carolyn for your dedication to making everyday count. Your passion for the Craft Beer Industry continues to shine and drive us down the road to success. We are proud to say, Women Brewed!

ABV: 5.3% IBU’s: 15
Brewed in collaboration with @reamsmeatmarket this American Corn Lager uses locally grown pilsner malt and purple corn from @sugarcreekmaltco . The purple corn gives this beer a pale pink hue and a light fruitiness balanced by the malty sweetness from the Pilsner malt. The beer finishes dry and crisp.
4-packs are available at the taproom and at Ream’s Meat Market while supplies last.
