Il tuo storyboard, dall’idea al fotogramma Artdigiland presenta “ComfyUI – Dal soggetto allo storyboard”, un corso base online, interattivo, dedicato a filmmaker, sceneggiatori e professionisti della comunicazione visiva che vogliono usare l’intelligenza artificiale per costruire pipeline di sviluppo visivo, dalla prima idea fino allo storyboard finito, senza scrivere codice. Lo strumento che proponiamo è ComfyUI: open source, flessibile, usato da filmmaker e VFX artist. Non un generatore automatico di immagini, ma un ambiente a nodi che permette controllo sui vari aspetti delle immagini. Il corso è tenuto da Paolo Marocco, matematico con Master in reti neurali, docente universitario di Machine Learning e Deep Learning, ingegnere del software e data scientist, ma anche critico e saggista cinematografico, autore di monografie su Hitchcock e Rohmer. È consulente AI in pre-produzione cinematografica. In occasione di due eventi che vedono protagonista il leggendario autore della fotografia Vittorio Storaro – il Premio Speciale Cinecittà, tributato al Maestro dai Davide di Donatello, e il conferimento dello status di Socio Onorario dell’Associazione @aic.cinematographers  – ricordiamo il volume Artdigiland a cui Storaro ha contribuito con un testo dedicato al restauro di 10 film di Bernardo Bertolucci:

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧-𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 "𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟏: 𝐀 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐝𝐲𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲" 𝐃𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫, actor, mime, and photographer, is the man behind Moonwatcher, the lead man-ape in the legendary 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧 sequence of 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐊𝐮𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤's 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟏: 𝐀 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐝𝐲𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲 (1968). Defined by 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐫 𝐂. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞 as "the most famous unknown actor in the world," Richter spent over six months studying primates at the London Zoo before choreographing and performing one of the defining sequences in cinema history. In this conversation curated by 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚 on the Artdigiland Blog, Richter recalls his collaboration with costume designer 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧, the grueling conditions of filming under Kubrick's front projection system, and the precise moment the bone-throwing shot came to life: a single improvised gesture that Kubrick would transform into the greatest temporal ellipsis in film history. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 Christian Berger AAC BVK is an Austrian cinematographer, director, and producer whose career spans documentaries, television, and feature films of the highest international standing. Over decades behind the camera, he has collaborated with directors including Michael Haneke, Amos Gitai, @angelinajolie , and Terrence Malick. His long partnership with Haneke, six films from Benny's Video to Happy End, produced some of contemporary cinema's most rigorous and haunting images. For The White Ribbon (2009), Berger was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography and received the ASC Award for the same film. Shot on colour negative and converted to black and white in post, the film won the Palme d'Or at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival.
