As we move to close the chapter of dancersconnect with our last conference, I’m filled with gratitude: for the incredible team who made every idea possible, for the artists and audiences who shared their curiosity and strength, and for the many conversations that shaped this journey.
I want to thank Friedrich Pohl for inspiring me with his brilliant mind and beautiful soul to be active, to voice my mind, to value and promote collaboration. It wouldn’t have happened without you! And thank you for the laughs, too.
It’s been a space to question, to listen, to take action : and, above all, to take self-responsibility within our artistic communities. For me it has been a huge learning experience and a space to practice solidarity… a space to think about those who come after us and to plant seeds and let them grow!
