Let us tell you the story of a woman who became the muse of Christian Dior. ✨
Her name was Alla Ilchun — the first Asian model with Kazakh roots to shape Paris Haute Couture. Her father was from Almaty, Kazakhstan — just like our model in the frame. 🇰🇿
After World War II, she attended a casting in Paris and was chosen by the House of Christian Dior, who later called her his “talisman.” For nearly 20 years, she embodied the iconic New Look silhouette and often opened or closed his shows. Later, she continued working with the House during the era of Yves Saint Laurent.
She was also one of the first models to popularize dramatic winged eyeliner in 1950s Paris — delicately extending the line of her eyes, a look that became her signature and influenced beauty trends of the era.

A similar story happened with our model Kamilla.
We met her by chance at an art exhibition — her unconventional beauty, intelligence, refinement, and grace stayed in our memory. A true woman-muse.
Six months later, after Jonathan Anderson’s first couture collection for Dior, the magic happened. Art Code Production team invited Kamila to her very first fashion shoot — dedicated to the Dior Muse.
Echoes of Dior.
