Here she is ❤️🦕 the Triassic cuddle mug! Hand-painted 🎨 I was moved by this fossil when I learned about it, but upon hearing the song by @parispaloma I was absolutely sobbing about it. More times than is probably reasonable.
The Triassic Cuddle is a 250-million-year-old fossil of a protomammal and amphibian, thought to have died during a flood. The protomammal (Thrinaxodon) was likely hibernating or sleeping in its burrow, when the injured amphibian (Broomistega) entered, likely seeking shelter from torrential rains. These two wouldn’t normally be in such close quarters, but they died cuddled up to each other, hiding from the world together.

Pulling handles! My handles may be improving but my speed is not, it took me all day just to do a batch of 20 😂 since starting pottery I will never again take a good handle for granted
