#StARTSpotlight 🌟 ESKY 🎨🚲 Concrete Barriers Program
These barriers were designed and painted by @artbyesky , an Iranian-Canadian artist based in Toronto. A passionate contributor to the public art space, his work can be seen on walls, laneways, and utility boxes in various neighbourhoods in the GTA. The design aims to represent diversity through a whimsical abstract representation of the diversity of people as shapes of various sizes and colours.

Artwork Description: Abstract figures with varied expressions stand respectively in front of buildings and a verdant natural landscape. they are of varied sizes, shapes and colours with individual expressions.
We are different and we are many, but we are the same and we are one.
These barriers were my contribution to the 2025 StreetARToronto Concrete Barriers program.
swipe to see them on the road and in work at the yard.
So appreciative of the @start_streetartoronto team for all you do to make these wonderful things a reality in this beautiful city.

some work in progress on “lot us” one of the pieces featured in my exhibition “stretch” currently on view at the @thetheatrecentre . .
.This piece explores the idea of balance and symmetry. Even in all of our odd shapes imbalanced and asymmetrical we are collectively beautiful. The lot that is us. .
