...see you there!π
I was saddened to hear that James Darren had passed away. He was 88. I was a big fan of his since the 60's TV series "Time Tunnel". when I was a kid in TJ, one Saturday morning my Dad said to us kids: "C'mon, we're going to "Campestre"(the Golf course)we didn't golf, but he said, several Hollywood actors are going to be there! So we went, and sure enough, we got to meet them, and say hi to them! Cast from "Get Smart", and "Time Tunnel", and other shows. I was about 8-9.
Well, I never forgot. And decades later, I got to work on 2 "TJ Hooker" episodes, the second one, I got to work with James Darren. He was a very nice man. A few years later, it turns out that we used the same video editing facility in the Valley(when you made Actor demo reels on DVD's...before internet, lol). We got to talk shop, and still the same nice person he was on the set of the TV show. In the back of my mind was this memory of "The Time Tunnel" TV show, all those years ago.
RIP James Darren.
Another feather on Giselle's "Bullfighter" hat at the prestigious Palm Springs Short Film festival. #Bigaccomplishment#parentsveryproud#verytalentedteam.@artbonilla10@locanilla@gilgameshgirl
