Get to know @mtmarlett , Michael T. Marlett, a photographer based in Los Angeles who ventures into the dark after everyone else has gone home. The result is night photography so cinematic in the most literal sense. Shot on the streets of LA, Tokyo, Paris, and London, he talks about neon on wet streets, anonymous figures, alleyways, and why the loneliness of big cities is the heart of his work. They say nothing good happens after midnight…tell that to his camera!

Sanghoon Kang @kasahcanada is a Korean-Canadian artist who arrived at his work through a question...what would music look like if it could hold still long enough to see? His path runs through cello lessons, architectural theory, and an 18th-century idea about frozen sound, and it landed him here, painting the structural logic of symphonies onto large canvases.
