My very 1st concert was Metallica concert in 1993. Some people might not believe it but it's true, i was at the Metallica's concert in Jakarta on 10th April 1993 when i was just almost 6 years old. My late father was a huge fan of Metallica, he went to Metallica's concert at Lebak Bulus with my 2 uncles and me. I remember clearly i was on my dad's shoulder the whole concert and seen some dude with long hair on stage (i didn't know it was Metallica ✌🏻😂). We stood on the tribune section and i kept asking innocently to my dad "who are those long haired guys on stage, why are we here?" During the concert there was riot happening outside the stadium. I just remember that at the end of the concert we ran so quick through a big hole at the side of the stadium, because we couldn't go out from the front door. Thankfully my dad parked his car at the back of Lebak Bulus Terminal, quite far from the stadium. 20 years later on 25th August 2013, Metallica held another concert at Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta. But that time i should went there without my dad, i came on behalf of my dad. I know if he still alive he would be so glad to take me to Metallica concert again. So, i went there to see my dad's favorite band. Maybe i don't remember so much about the concert in 1993, but from the 2013 concert i understand why my dad loved this band so much. The stage presence was insane, the live was so good, the atmosphere of the concert was overwhelming. One of the best concert i've ever been to. Thank you Bapak Arief for introducing me to your favorite band at my very young age. Thank you for being crazy enough to took me to that Metallica riot concert. Exploring parts of Talawi I’ve never seen before, even though this is already my fourth time here. It really has so much potential, if only it were managed a bit better by its government...👻 As a city girl with no hometown, got to go with my husband to his hometown that's quite far from everything, just made me genuinely happy. I love how calm and humble this place is, away from the city noise 😂 It’s my first time witnessing the symbiotic friendship between egrets and buffaloes up close, then seeing them returned in the evening to roost in the coconut trees behind my in-laws’ house.

Tahun ini ikut pulang kampung lagi sama suami ke Talawi, Sawahlunto. Ngerasain juga suasana puasa di Talawi, dan lebaran pertama kita di Talawi bareng keluarga Mursal Nurid ini. Mumpung Mama masih sehat kita kumpul-kumpul. Trio ipar di slide terakhir gantian masak di rumah sepanjang puasa-lebaran ini. Mantap pokoknya 🫶🏻😂 Selamat lebaran ya everyone ✨️

ᴍᴜꜱᴇᴜᴍ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ ᴛᴏ ɴᴀᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ ᴍᴜꜱᴇᴜᴍ ᴊᴀᴋᴀʀᴛᴀ Tidak banyak yang tau kalau suamiku suka nyimpen banyak fakta sejarah di kepalanya, yang suka muncul pas lagi ke museum kaya gini. Jadi tiba-tiba dia bilang "Setau aku di Museum Nasional ini cuma ada 1 arca yang ditemukannya di Sumatera Barat" dan bener aja emang setelah keliling cuma ada 1 patung Bhairawa Buddha yang ditemukannya di Padangroco Sungai Langsat Sumatera Barat. Sebagai orang Minang, kamu memang membanggakan! 🫵🏻 Ini kali pertama gue dateng lagi ke Museum Nasional setelah kejadian kebakaran besar di sana yang sedihnya menghanguskan 902 koleksi sejarah bangsa. Yah gitu lah, ga tau mau comment apa. Entah sudah berapa banyak kejadian museum kebakar nih ah ah. Sedih juga tuh liat nekara yang dulu kita liat di buku sejarah hancur berkeping-keping 😮‍💨 Pas kita dateng lagi ada koleksi yang dipinjamkan dari museum/pameran lain. Jadi ada lukisan dari seniman Bali, ada kerajinan tanah liat, pisau, kain-kainan. Anyway, koleksi keris sama pisaunya sungguh menarik. Ukiran/pahatan di keris dan pisaunya sangat keren. Tetep interest ke benda tajam 😜 Masih ada dokumentasi perjalanan kita ke museum-museum lain yang belum diupload di feed, next diupload kalo ada waktu yeah ~
