Allison Schmitt is an Olympian, champion, and a true natural born fighter. From the very beginning, her story has been defined by resilience and an unshakable belief in what’s possible. ❤️
As Allison shares:
“Being part of Huggies’ Natural Born Fighters campaign is something that sits so close to my heart, because I truly understand that some of our biggest fights can begin in our earliest moments. My biggest hope is to inspire others to keep fighting for the life they truly deserve.
Being born premature is a huge part of my story, my very first chapter was about battling to grow stronger, and that fight never left me. As a NICU baby, I learned early what it meant to be a natural born fighter, and that fire has carried me through everything. It’s woven into the way I show up, the way I train, and the way I refuse to quit. I genuinely believe with everything in me that I can achieve whatever I set my mind to …and I want YOU to believe that about yourself too!!”
Allison’s journey is proof that our biggest fights begin in our earliest moments and grow into something unstoppable.

Born in Pittsburgh but raised in Plymouth, Schmitt is the most-decorated swimmer in the state of Michigan’s history.
Her Olympic 200m Free record stood 12 years while her American record has now stood an incredible 16+ years.
Allison is one of just six women in USA Swimming history to qualify for four Olympic teams.
