Application Deadline: July 3, 23:59 Results: July 4-5 Applying: Free Participation in the exhibition: 60€ Artists of all mediums are invited (paintings, sculptures, ceramics, installations, photography, video art, jewelry, etc.) Applications with a description of the project and photos of the work (if already ready) send in direct. You also can only an idea and a description of the project if the work has not been created yet. For the first time I myself (@natachebarkova ) do an open open call. I want to finish this exhibition season beautifully and freshly, and arrange a light holiday and an exhibition-sale of works on a topic that is very understandable to everyone who lives in Cyprus. For the exhibition, you can submit any work or works related to the theme of the sea. The idea can be both very deep or light. It can be either a series of works or a project consisting of one work. Preference will be given to small size and easily transportable objects, as the gallery is located in a tourist place, and there is also a chance that your work will fly away from Cyprus as a gift to someone during the August holidays. Seed Gallery is the first youth gallery in Cyprus, and is housed in the Cornaro Art Center in the heart of Limassol. Its aim is to present the young up-and-coming artists who live on the island, and to act as a supportive platform in the first steps of their journey. The gallery's program for 2023 began with the solo exhibition of the young abstract artist Natalia Chebarkova, who is from Russia and lives in Limassol. Driven by her deep need to give form to her thoughts and feelings, Natalia approaches her artistic activity as a meditative journey. Through her evocative works, she seeks self-realization and emancipation from her conservative upbringing. Despite her knowledge of classical and figurative painting, Natalia fearlessly chose to embrace abstract art, shaping her own distinct artistic identity. The solo exhibition feature a collection of Natalia's latest works on canvas and old ones on paper, each reflecting her ongoing artistic evolution. Visitors have the opportunity to experience the power and beauty of her creations as she invites them on a transformative journey.
