Learning to feel connected to my body through dance has been the best therapy I’ve ever found. I taught embodiment for years, but I firmly believe now — embodiment without joyful movement is incomplete.
You don’t have to be a dancer to dance. We all can move, sing, play, connect. It’s there for all of us.
Modernity convinced us to isolate in therapy sessions and be stoic and still. Dancing threatens that.
