Teamwork is the ability to work together for a singular purpose. It is also the ability to
manage individual achievements toward organizational goals. Consider it as the fuel that
enables regular people get uncommon results.

Communication matters! In fact, 96% of people looking for jobs said that they value working for a company that embraces transparency. Companies that choose to leave employees in the dark are going to get left in the dust as staff members look for more transparent practices from leadership in the workplace.

Applying to a bunch of roles with one click usually doesn’t end in getting a job.
Here are five steps for a better system.
1. Identify a few companies that you want to engage with rather than applying to places on a whim.
2. As BEST as you can, try making connections at those companies. Recruiters, managers, and most importantly, folks with a similar role. Reach outs, emails, LinkedIn messages, there’s a few ways to do it.
3. Here’s the biggie, edit the context of your resume to fit the role you’re looking for! While the same skills apply, the language and presentation may need to be changed a bit.
4. See if the company has any recruiting events or general info you can find on the website, career page, LinkedIn, etc.
5. Be resilient. This is not a “ra-ra feel good you can do it” but a way to say: Keep following up, keep applying to relevant roles at the company, keep reaching out, and keep on until you achieve.
Getting a job is hard. HARD, but this at least gives you a roadmap along the way.
