Rockland, people and New Yorkers. If you have never been to the Garner Arts Festival, you’re truly missing out. The festival features many great artists from around Rockland County showing they’re working open Studios in a huge industrial warehouse complex. That’s been an art Mecca for over 25 years. There’s outdoor areas with food, music and all of the sculpture and painting that you could ever hope to see. Come out Saturday and make a day of it, and at the end of the day come dance w Morgana and Astara and myself. (I’ll be premiering a bunch of new music.)

This is such an outrage!
ICE agent Jonathan Ross shot and killed Renée Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, on January 7, 2026 in Minneapolis — in broad daylight, on video.
Video evidence shows her car was turning away from him when he fired three shots. After the shooting, Ross was overheard calling her a “f**king b*tch.” ICE officers on the scene not only failed to render aid — they actually blocked a civilian doctor from helping her.
His punishment? Three days of administrative leave. He is now back on duty, transferred quietly to another state.
The Trump administration immediately defended him. The DOJ refused to open a civil rights investigation. The FBI’s probe has been delayed and suppressed. At least 6 senior DOJ officials and prosecutors resigned in protest over the mishandling of the case.
A federal judge recently ordered the government to turn over evidence. NY Governor Hochul is now demanding to know if Ross was reassigned to New York and is calling for his removal pending a real investigation.
Renée Good’s family is still waiting for justice. Ross is still on the job.
This is what no accountability looks like.
“Raped, Then Forgotten: How Israel’s Government Defended the Abusers and Buried the Case”
In 2024, approximately 9-10 IDF reservists were arrested after a video surfaced showing the gang rape of a Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman detention facility — an assault so brutal the victim was left unable to walk.
Rather than condemning the abuse, Israeli cabinet ministers defended the soldiers. National Security Minister Ben-Gvir called their arrest “shameful” and referred to them as “our best heroes.” A member of Netanyahu’s own Likud party, when asked in the Knesset whether it was legitimate to insert a stick into a prisoner’s rectum, responded: “If he is a Hamas militant…”
In March 2026, Israel dropped all charges against those soldiers.
A UN Commission concluded that statements by Israeli leaders and the failure of the military justice system send a clear message to IDF soldiers that they can commit these acts without fear of accountability.
