Pertamina Eco Runfest 2025, Virgin Half Marathon 🥶 Had a pre-race panic, only slept for 1,5 hours. Still shows up, still have to start what I’m signing up for. I still remember what the starting lane feels like. Packed with pressure, but the weather couldn’t be nicer than that. KM 1-8, smooth sailing with pace above target with 112 avg HR. What a sorcery? KM 8.4, suddenly my left ankle cramped out. Forcing me to drowned alone in antasari skyway. I know my left feet is working harder to support my weak right hip, but i never experienced this before. After this, all my body just crumbled down. Left feet, move to right hip, then finally left hip. They kept burned out and handover the overloaded task from me like an unstable start-up. Still running, still have to finish what I’m starting. With a lot of technical-real-time feedbacks from gemini and massive support from coach @benneeee__ and asst. @putriardhianaaa . Only four of us know what happens on that miles. Finish line feels so dramatic that day, all of my bodies stop moving but my eyes keep locking on the finish line. i think i know what Pheidippides felt when he finally arrived to announce greek’s victory. Grateful? Yes. Satisfied? Of course not. Keep grinding, build foundation, be strong, then go long.

Lagi pemanasan buat relay race tapi ngeliat mereka kok pelan banget kayak keong 🐌. Padahal kalau racenya sprint minimal pemanasannya fartlek/interval lah. Akhirnya kepikiran untuk ngajak lari sambil karakoean biar at least bisa ngejambak pace mereka tanpa bikin mereka nangis 🙏🏻

Karena dunia pagi ini ramai, panas, dan terik sekali, kayaknya gakuat kalau harus long run. Untungnya garmin coach sangat baik hati ngasih menu hari ini Time Trial. Sekalian nyobain sepatu baru hadiah dari mbak @putriardhianaaa untuk virgin hm nanti 😁😁

Surprisingly, the weather was quite nice from late afternoon into the evening. Backpacks on, we were ready for whatever the streets had in store
