Since my college days, I’ve always wanted to digitally recreate the iconic Bauhaus building in Dessau, designed by Walter Gropius in 1925. It’s a symbol of the integration between art, design, and technology, a turning point in how the world began to perceive space, function, and aesthetics. The Bauhaus school was founded in Germany with the purpose of uniting artists, architects, and craftsmen under a common vision: creating a universal aesthetic language that combined beauty and functionality. The Dessau building perfectly embodies this philosophy. With its glass facades, geometric volumes and rational structure, it became the built manifesto of the modernist movement. This project consisted of the complete reformulation of a commercial kitchen for a restaurant whose original layout did not fully reflect the operational demands of the establishment. The redesign focused on reorganizing the space according to a clear preparation hierarchy, establishing defined zones for each stage of food handling, from raw ingredient processing to final plating. The goal was to optimize workflow efficiency while minimizing cross-contamination risks. Material specifications were carefully selected, prioritizing stainless steel worktops and industrial-grade surfaces to ensure durability, resistance, and the highest hygiene standards. Each preparation area was strategically divided to create logical circulation paths and improve team coordination. The result is a highly functional commercial kitchen environment designed for operational performance, sanitation control, and long-term reliability. This residence, located in João Pessoa, is a contemporary example of architecture adapted to the tropical climate and guided by sustainable principles. The use of ecological bricks on the facade promotes cross ventilation and thermal comfort, while also contributing to a striking aesthetic. The ceramic tile roofs and the vibrant blue upper volume create a bold contrast with the exposed brick and the roof garden. Located in a countryside condominium in São Paulo state, the (casa hodierna) is the perfect example of Brazilian contemporary style, surrounded by a lot of trees, it has large spaces and connection with the landscape, the wooden panels on the facade help ensure privacy from the outside and works as a thermal system for the upper floor, these panels and breeze blocks bring an incredible look to the main facade, in geral combining with a predominance of straight lines, showcasing a fusion of form and function!
