Petunia explores the tension between softness and structure through a gently hand-formed ceramic body. A surface left intentionally uneven, encouraging a tactile relationship as much as a visual one. Light enhances these irregularities, making texture, shadow, and warmth part of the experience. The lamp shifts in character depending on the angle and time of day, existing somewhere between object and sculpture.
Petunia is both a continuation and a new beginning—the quiet, tender evolution of a sculptural language centered on presence, perception, and form. The youngest descendant—smaller, softer, and quietly luminous. Neither beginning nor ending, but a quiet evolution of a shared form language.
