Terry Gilliam called his animation “free and cheap.” Paying homage to an animator we love meant getting that specific kind of brilliance exactly right. The wizardly @_cosmotoad_ was up to the task, delivering this @adultswim Flying Circus piece after the original directors of the firm hired to continue the credits after the other people had been sacked.

Had the pleasure of animating the menu screen for Grand Strategy IV in last Sunday's Smiling Friends episode! Here's a compilation of the unused live-action takes!
Production art from the Smiling Friends episode "Squim Returns" of the titular character, Squim! Drawn back in October-November 2024, here we have the main expression/pose sheet, early development sketches for his overall design, and color palette explorations! I also had drawn an initial rough turnaround sheet that was then cleaned up and finalized awesomely by @_artedealexh in which I wanted to include in this post as well! :D
