May 8 commemoration ceremony of the 81st anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe at the Arc de Triomphe. And a very moving tribute of 🇫🇷 President Macron to the 🇺🇦 Ukrainian children, who lost their parents 🙏 in Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine, and to the Ukrainian war veterans.
A fascinating return to the times of Molière at the legendary Royal Opera House of Versailles Palace, watching a special premiere of Sorbonne University’s Molière Theatre of his imaginary play “L’Astrologue ou les Faux Présages” created by AI. The past meets the future in the royal theatre, where Molière himself worked, recreating the costumes, the music, the French language, the candle-lighting, the acoustics and the atmosphere of his times. But guided by the invisible hand of artificial intelligence. Surreal experience.

Un immense et sincère merci à nos hôtes prestigieux pour leur formidable accueil humain et musical.
Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir chanter dans l’église des Saint-Jean de l’université à deux reprises, l’occasion pour nous de continuer de tisser des liens forts avec nos partenaires institutionnels et musicaux.
Quelle joie de célébrer les musiques lituanienne et française dans cette ambiance si chaleureuse et accueillante.

Our exchange trip to Vilnius with @cosu_paris has just come to an end!
A huge and heartfelt thank you to our wonderful hosts for their incredibly warm and musical welcome.
We were lucky enough to perform twice at the University’s St John’s Church, which gave us the chance to continue building strong ties with our institutional and musical partners.
What a joy it was to celebrate Lithuanian and French music in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
A big thank you to everyone who made this possible 🙏

Absolutely wonderful joint concert of Sorbonne and Vilnius universities orchestras and choirs in Vilnius! Nearly 200 French and Lithuanian students performing together Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, Gustav Mahler and Francis Poulenc. The friendship that was born during Lithuania’s season in France and which keeps inspiring and growing! 🇱🇹🇫🇷
Very special to witness the first in history visit of the Pope to Monaco. And also for the first time to see Pope Leo XIV. A very beautiful mass, a splendid sunny day and powerful words of the homily on the dangers of abuse of power, of vanity and of fear. 🇻🇦🇲🇨

Keynote by Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, moderated by Geopolitics and Security Studies Center Director Linas Kojala, two panels on Ukraine and civil defence with Defence Viceminister Tomas Godliauskas, and a panel on fighting disinfo with LRT Deputy Editor Aleksandra Ketlerienė. Not to mention Defence and Space Commissioner Andrius Kubilius. Thank you all for coming! 🇱🇹🇫🇷
Šios savaitės įvykis - be jokios abejonės, Lietuvos nepriklausomybės atkūrimo diena, ir ta proga mūsų ambasadoje surengtas diplomatinis priėmimas. Sugužėjo daugiau žmonių, nei tikėjomės - virš 200, įskaitant daug svarbių asmenų - UNESCO generalinis direktorius, Prancūzų instituto prezidentė, Prancūzijos ir Lietuvos parlamento nariai, virš 50 ambasadorių, ir daugybė Lietuvos bičiulių Prancūzijos diplomatijos, verslo, gynybos, kultūros ir mokslo pasaulyje. Labai jautriai Lietuvos, Prancūzijos ir Europos Sąjungos himnus atliko Paryžiaus lietuvių moterų choras “Vilnis”, padovanojęs mums ir nuostabią sutartinę. Skambėjo sveikinimo kalbos ir buvo apdovanoti Lietuvai nusipelnę žmonės. Kviečiu virtualiai ekskursijai! 🇱🇹🇫🇷
