Phase 1: Measuring
We’re not just rehousing lenses. We’re building a system that makes rehousing easier, faster, and more affordable. All of this, without compromising build quality or optical performance.
But before we design anything, we need to understand everything.
That starts with measuring. Tolerances are what make a lens work in a professional environment. They determine alignment, smooth operation, and long-term reliability. Get them wrong, and a lens can’t focus accurately, the iris won’t seat correctly, or it simply won’t survive on set.
So Phase 1 is about more than just numbers. It’s about understanding the DNA of each lens family, building our database, and laying the groundwork for what will become our rehousing system.
Most people start with one lens family. We’re starting with five — because we’re building a system, not a one-off solution.
Let us know what lenses you would like to see rehoused!
More updates to follow.
Over the past weeks, we’ve been deep into building our website. It’s turning into more than just a place to showcase what we do.
Creating our website forces us to define clearly who we are as a brand: how we want to be seen, what story we want to tell, and how that story reaches the right people.
While our products are still in development, our vision is clear. We’re building around quality, innovative engineering, and a bigger mission to support filmmakers and their creative work.
Step by step, this vision is becoming tangible, and the website is where it all comes together. You can read about it more soon!
We’d love to hear your first impressions of the homepage design 👇
Behold, our first working prototype of a rehoused lens.
This may look trivial, but it’s a very important first step into validating our standardised rehousing system.
Learning how to create CAD designs and to 3D-print has been challenging but extremely rewarding. This gives us a lot of confidence that we’re on the right track.
Our goal: to make rehoused vintage glass as accessible as possible to as many creatives as possible. To offer the highest quality, quicker turnaround, and support to the film industry through knowledge and innovation.
If you want to know more about what we’re doing, don’t hesitate to send us a message.
In the next post, there’s also some demo footage shot with our prototype lens.

SUMMER EDITION — Pre-Production Workshop at @de.grid.muntpunt , Brussels.
This week, we brought together a room full of creatives ready to turn their film and web series ideas into concrete projects, guided by the expertise of @arnefivez
The session was focused, practical and packed with key insights on how to prepare a strong production dossier, approach production companies and structure your vision
Thanks to everyone who showed up with their questions, projects and ambition

Our original guest won’t be joining us after all, but guess what ?
We’ve got Arne Fivez taking over:
24-year-old filmmaker, director & producer behind Catch23
He’s here to break down the real process of pre-production from tools and prep, to what actually works on set
If you’re building a project, a short film, a web series, figuring out where to start or simply curious, this masterclass is for you
